Basic directions of activity

The Arsenal plant was founded in 1711 by Peter the Great like gun foundry. In 1993 the Arsenal plant became one of the first join-stock companies. In contrast to other great plants the machine-building plant `ARSENAL` has kept its industrial and intellectual potential and now it is considered as a part of elite of industrial enterprises in Russia. The machine-building plant `ARSENAL` is developing in 4 main trends: manufacturing space apparatus, artillery gun mounts for NAVY, compressor stations and civil machinery. At present time in Russia the machine-building plant `Arsenal` occupies the leading positions in manufacturing and supply of new samples of artillery, zenith-missile arms and launchers, which are placed practically at all surface ships of Russian NAVY and military fleet of other states. The original design decisions put the artillery arms, produced by machine-building plant `Arsenal, in one row with the best world samples. The ARSENAL`s arms is effective and reliable. It is confirmed by exploitation of many years by combat fleets of many countries.
